Ken Paulsen was raised in the Midwest where he worked most of his life in the information technology field prior to becoming a corporate instructor in South Carolina. He retired to northern New England in 2000 where he has pursued his interest in photography. He has attended seminars to understand elements of photo composition and apply that knowledge to the work presented in this book. He concentrates primarily on landscape scenes. His focus on the New England fall experience led to previous Schiffer Publishing books, New Hampshire: An Autumn Sojourn and Vermont: A Focus on Fall.
