Ákos Bánfalvi is a well-known Hungarian journalist and principal contributor to Tattoo Magazin and Tattoo Galériamagazines. Everything started with his love for rock music, which ledto his career as a music journalist during his teens. He soon became aprincipal contributor to the Hungarian RockinforM Magazine,where he worked for more than fifteen years. During this period, hewrote five successful books about Marilyn Manson; Limp Bizkit; the mostfamous Hungarian punk ’n’ roll band, Junkies; the Hungarian melodic rockband Hooligans; and more. He also worked for years as a host and editorfor several rock/metal radio and television programs.His interest turned more and more toward tattoos, and now he lives fortattoo art. He began working for the Hungarian Tattoo Magazinin 2007, and, since then, has done interviews every month with tattooedbands, tattoo photographers, tattooed models, tattoo artists, and otherartists from all around the world for two different Hungarian tattoomagazines. Bánfalvi also occasionally works for the English tattoomagazine Total Tattoo and the US digital magazine InkSpired.He is the author, with Timothy Remus, of the bookazines World’s Best Tattoo Models Vol. 1, Vol. 2 (Through the Lens), and Vol. 6 (Inked Beauties by the Best). He is also the author of World’s Best Tattoo Models Vol. 8 (Stunning Inked Beauties); The Colorful World of Tattoo Models; Best of Tattoo Models, Collected Edition; and The New Generation of Tattoo Artists.
