Anthony Stultz is an ordained Buddhist minister and internationally recognized mindfulness expert. His spiritual teachings are featured regularly in magazines and television. He is the spiritual director of the Blue Mountain Lotus Society (1998) and founder of the Blue Lotus School of Mindfulness Arts (1999). He is the author of numerous academic and popular works, including The Book of Common Meditation (2003) and Free Your Mind: The Four Directions of an Awakened Life (2007). He is a contributing author to Lifecycles (2009), Engaged Buddhism in the West (2000), and Action Dharma (2003). For over 30 years his unique Four Directions System of Mindfulness™ has helped both individuals and groups in a variety of settings, including hospitals, prisons, universities, nonprofits, and corporations. He was a featured presenter at the 2010 International Socially Engaged Buddhism Symposium and Buddhist Ambassador to the 2012 World Congress of Religion. His national service includes serving the families of victims of the September 2001 Flight 93 tragedy and First Responders of Ground Zero.
