This volume was written by a mother and daughter team. Gloria Brady Hoffner, the product of twelve years of Catholic education, has been collecting rosaries since childhood. With the exception of the King Henry VIII boxwood rosary, all of the rosaries shown in this book are part of her personal collection. She gives rosary presentations for schools and community organizations. She was a legal secretary for a large Philadelphia law firm for over thirty years and counts music, photography, and travel among her interests. Gloria’s daughter, Helen Hoffner, Ed.D., enjoys researching the varieties of rosaries to be found throughout the world. Helen is a professor at Holy Family University, has written several professional reference books, and is a frequent contributor to academic journals.
