Elaine Ann Allen is an avid environmentalist. She grew up in Goldsboro, Maryland and received a BA in English Literature from Washington College. While studying at Washington College she interned at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and has volunteered at the Marine Studies Lab and Aquarium in Manhattan Beach, California. Elaine has written several articles about sea life for Cecil Child magazine and enjoys educating the public about aquatic life and the importance of the environment. Those concepts are the primary focus in her debut book Olly the Oyster. Elaine currently resides in Maryland with her family and is pursuing a masters degree. Artist and illustrator Kelli Nash has studied art throughout her life, taking every art class she could from elementary to high school. She graduated Cum Laude with a BFA in graphic design and illustration from American Intercontinental University in Atlanta, Georgia. Her style ranges from colorful children’s illustrations to fine art. She works mostly in acrylics, watercolors, pen, and ink. Kelli is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator.
