David Gati has been a film fan since he saw The Wizard of Oz when he was three years old. He studied film at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and earned an MA from Cal State Los Angeles in communication studies, specializing in film criticism. His other areas of interest include pop culture, comics, fandom, fan art, and podcasting. He lives in Los Angeles and works in the film industry.
